Nature Trail Interpretive Signage Program
The Foundation, in partnership with the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks, has established an initial nature trail interpretive signage program at Prairie Dog State Park. This program provides visitors with information about the trail, such as what wildlife might be seen. This project was completed in September 2002. Using this as a model, the Foundation and Department plan to expand this program to other trails in our state parks and other areas of the state. This project required approximately $1,000 for signage.
