20th Annual Glen Elder Youth Fishing Tournament

Boat owners volunteer to act as fishing guides for youth anglers for the morning. Hamburgers are grilled for lunch while prizes are awarded to those who catch the biggest fish in each category. Every youth participant receives a goodie bag (contents depend on current supplies) and a T-shirt. Almost all food. prizes, and t -shirts are purchased with recent and past donations.

Local Sponsors: Past events had up to 70 local businesses donating money, prizes, or lunch supplies. Cunningham Electric and Guaranty State Bank are consistent sponsors.
