*Marc and Kansas Wildscape Foundation,
We can’t thank you enough for your continued support for the National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP). From scholarship funds, meals for volunteers, and general support (and labor) of the state tournament the impact you and the foundation have on the program is significant. We so appreciate everything you do, and we look forward to continuing to work with you!
All the Best,
Lyndzee and the KDWP Education Section
*Handwritten notecard received from Lyndzee Rhine, Outdoor Skills and Recruitment Coordinator, Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks, after the Kansas State NASP Tournament at the Hutchinson Fairgrounds March 27-29, 2025. This year’s Kansas tournament drew nearly 400 kids from 26 elementary, middle, and high schools from across the state for the competition in both 3D and Bullseye archery.
The Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks has been focusing efforts on recruiting Kansas residents to outdoor activities like hunting, shooting, boating, fishing and a host of others.
This is accomplished through organized activities like the Becoming an Outdoors Woman (BOW) Workshop, National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP), SHE Goes Outdoors and others that provide instruction or equipment to allow participants to try some of these activities.
The Kansas Wildscape Foundation is proud to be a sponsor of these events that create outdoor opportunities for Kansans of all ages.
